LedgerGH is a WhatsApp-first bookkeeping and tax-compliance service for businesses in Ghana. It is operated by Cramer Resources Ltd in partnership with Xcelerate AK ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact: your WhatsApp phone number and the business name, type and Tax Identification Number (TIN) you provide.
- Bookkeeping data you send us: sales, expenses, invoices, customer names and amounts you record via WhatsApp or the dashboard.
- Payroll data (if you use it): employee names, salaries and SSNIT numbers you enter.
- Linked accounts (optional): mobile-money and bank transaction summaries, only when you connect them.
- Technical: message identifiers and timestamps needed to deliver the service reliably.
2. How we use it
- To record your transactions and produce your ledger, reports and invoices.
- To calculate VAT, income tax, PAYE and SSNIT estimates and prepare filing files.
- To send you reminders about deadlines and overdue invoices on WhatsApp.
- To operate, secure and support the service.
3. How we share it
We do not sell your data. We share it only:
- With WhatsApp / Meta as the messaging channel that delivers our conversations.
- With the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and SSNIT only to the extent needed to help you file, and only with your instruction.
- With service providers (e.g. hosting, mobile-money/bank aggregators you connect) under confidentiality obligations.
- Where required by law.
4. Security & retention
Data is held on access-controlled servers; documents are released only via signed links or an authenticated session. We keep your records while your account is active and as long as Ghanaian tax law requires you to retain them, then delete or anonymise them.
5. Your rights & data deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To delete your data, message DELETE to the LedgerGH WhatsApp number, or email the address below with the subject "Data deletion". We will action verified requests within 30 days, subject to records we must retain by law.
